Drive Thru Coin Drop
With the recent devastation in Redding over the last week, SMP has partnered with 101.5 K-Hits to hold a Drive Thru Coin Drop. Here’s the 4-1-1:
Who: 101.5 K-Hits, Sunrise Marketplace, Marketplace at Birdcage and you!
What: Your loose change. Gather it up from your car, drawer, jar, wherever, and drop it off.
Where: Sunrise Marketplace (see map at bottom of this page)
When: Saturday, August 4, 8 AM ’til 11 AM
Why: Raise money to help Carr Fire victims.
How: The money collected will go to the verified fund set up by Tri Counties Bank. To see exactly how they’ll distribute the funds, click here.
How else can you help?
- Share this webpage on your social media.
- Share the Facebook event here. Also, RSVP by marking yourself as “Going” or “Interested.” This helps spread the word, too, believe it or not.
- Hold a change drive at your workplace, school, church, etc., and bring the donations Saturday.
- Collect change from your neighbors, and drop it off Saturday.
What if I have more than $500 worth of change I collect for donations?
