Sunrise MarketPlace business improvement district (BID) is a collection of 400 businesses, services, and restaurants densely packed into a 10- block area surrounded by some of the region’s most traveled thoroughfares—Greenback Lane, Fair Oaks Blvd., Sunrise Blvd. and Madison Ave. Property owners of Sunrise Mall and Marketplace at Birdcage, among other shopping centers, office buildings and popular dining spots, along with the City of Citrus Heights, joined together to insure the long-term economic viability of this bustling commercial corridor.
